Saturday 25 – Coffee & Donuts – Meet at Yamaha of Las Vegas from 9:30 – 10:15am. 7001 W Arby Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89113. At 10:15 we’ll more than likely go for a short ride in town.

Sunday 26 – Chapter Ride – Lake Mead Loop. Meet at Paradise Shell 500 Conestoga Way Henderson, NV. 89002 Wagon Wheel Exit at 10 am kick stands up at 10:30 am.

Here is what we have coming up this week. Also as a reminder the Southwest Star B Que’s registration is up and running if you plan on attending you should register soon.

Wednesday 1 – Star Days Registration opens, information can be found at www.stardays.org

Saturday 4 – Chapter Ride – Nipton Loop – Meet at Terrible Herbst Chevron 3250 Blue Diamond Rd. Las Vegas, NV. 89139 Northwest corner of Blue Diamond and Dean Martin at 10 am kick stands up at 10:30 am. We will be stopping in Searchlight so Dennis can have a piece of pie.

Monday 6 – Chapter Meeting 7 PM Nevada Power 6226 Sahara Ave.Meeting entrance is in the rear of building. There are 2 entrances use the one on the right that is a semi circle bowed out of building.

Today’s ride to Arizona…

So today we rode out to Arizona, to a joint called The Last Stop.
It’s just before were Rosie’s was, out on the 93 towards Kingman.

This spot was suggested by Rae who had it recommended to him. The only thing we knew about this place was (about) where it was located and that they were apparently known for their “world famous” burgers.
Well, we walked in to see that we were the only one’s there. “Are we sure their burgers are good?”

So we sat down and ordered, mind you we were not given menus…apparently we were expected to order the burger.
Service was great, and as it turns out…they do have pretty damn good burgers. And what appear to be hand cut fries too…which were equally scrumptious.

As we were waiting for our food, other people started to show up to eat as well, so we knew we were in the right place. And might I add…these people WERE given menus. Just throwin’ that out there.

Over all, it was a great ride. Weather broke for a day so we were rain free and it wasn’t too cold.
It looks like we have found a new place to hit up every so often.

Thursday 19 – Chapter Meeting 6:30 PM, AP’s Grill & Tavern 1231 American Pacific Ave, Henderson, NV. Our state director will be attending this meeting to read over the national charter and so we can sign it. Please remember to bring your national card and your insurance paperwork as we will be filling out ride waivers for the 2012 year.If there is only one meeting you are able to attend all year, please try to make it this one!

Sunday 22 – Chapter Ride – Riding to AZ – Meet at Paradise Shell 500 Conestoga Way Henderson, NV. 89002 Wagon Wheel Exit at 10 am kick stands up at 10:30 am. We will be riding to the Hamburger place across the dam near where Rosies used to be.
