Update on this Saturday’s ride

There has been some confusion on the ride this Saturday. Let’s help clear this up…

We will be riding “over the hump” to Pahrump, gassing up and making the turn on Bella Vista Rd. towards Death Valley.
We will not be making it all the way to Furnace Creek, but will be stopping at a spot suggested by August & Gloria along the way.

Meeting at the Chevron across from the Silverton. Meet there at 9am, kickstands up at 9:30.

August & Gloria will be leading this one, they seem to be the only ones to know exactly where we are going. Remember…it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.

Come join us, it’s a new adventure around every corner!

Lake Mead ride – 2-26

So today was our last chapter ride of February. We had a good turnout for a rather chilly & windy day. Thanks to George for the photos that he sent in. Good to see everyone getting out and riding!

Take a look at the pics here

Today’s ride to Arizona…

So today we rode out to Arizona, to a joint called The Last Stop.
It’s just before were Rosie’s was, out on the 93 towards Kingman.

This spot was suggested by Rae who had it recommended to him. The only thing we knew about this place was (about) where it was located and that they were apparently known for their “world famous” burgers.
Well, we walked in to see that we were the only one’s there. “Are we sure their burgers are good?”

So we sat down and ordered, mind you we were not given menus…apparently we were expected to order the burger.
Service was great, and as it turns out…they do have pretty damn good burgers. And what appear to be hand cut fries too…which were equally scrumptious.

As we were waiting for our food, other people started to show up to eat as well, so we knew we were in the right place. And might I add…these people WERE given menus. Just throwin’ that out there.

Over all, it was a great ride. Weather broke for a day so we were rain free and it wasn’t too cold.
It looks like we have found a new place to hit up every so often.

Thanks to everyone that came out for the ride. Hope to see you all again (and those who missed out) on the next ride.
If you have pictures or video from the ride (I’m talking to you Rae & Patrick), please send them to me @ lvstar276@gmail.com so I can add them to the site.

See ya next time!
